Do You Wear Underware With A Singlet

Introduction to the debate "local emergency and aggression to the common property"

We are here to discuss some emergencies that affect our area, some already well known in the Valley Telesina, others perhaps are not perceived as such, but in the future that could cause further injury to the health of the environment in which we live and agricultural resources, food and wine Tourist of which still can be proud, and without any economic benefit to the citizens.
These seemingly different problems, but have a thread that binds them all: they are, in any case, public goods, ie all that are sold out to further the interests of a few.
subtly speak of free markets and deregulation, but rather almost always, it is the privatization of essential goods and services under monopoly, also conducted in order to sabotage the "market rules" that could at least ensure genuine competition.
Some years ago I had a terrible nightmare: the administration of justice and the prison system had been privatized, with a series of tragic consequences. I woke up anxious, but he could console me thinking that it was only a dream that never would have happened really such a thing.
Well I'm afraid that I was wrong: the art. 15 of Law 135 of 19 November last year has provided a new framework of local public services (water, waste, ...) and laid the ground for the next "privatization by selling off" of local public companies (there will talk extensively Salvador Carnival, the Movement for the Defense of Water), the public school is actually under attack, and it continues to divert resources but without ever erosion of funding for private school, indeed increased, energy, communications and transport are now almost entirely in private hands, ....
the press states that "due out in December, a decree that will transform the civil protection in a joint stock company with the President of the Council as sole director (at least for the moment): in short, are going to privatize emergency situations or a where it already operates with unlimited powers, with absolute discretion, by operations and investments outside of control, but with this decree will have even worse effects on transparency, such as recruitment and procurement.
Yet we seem to accept everything without reacting, a bit 'because addiction is resigned, and a little' because the control of information is so pervasive that there are very few dissenting voices and opinions that can leak, immediately submerged reassuring replies from those who now holds all powers, except for the time being, the judiciary. And here we return to my nightmare: the prisons that now overflow of "criminals" common, especially drug users, and lack of resources reported by the same services manager, including how long you think it will be given the opportunity to build private prisons, certainly not to miss any of their exemptions and incentives? And the idea of \u200b\u200breforming the judiciary, primarily the separation of careers between MP and judge, what do you think they are, if not the beginning of a transformation in the sense of the role of private-judge?
However local authorities, especially municipalities, may object to this logic, and to claim and realize their degree of autonomy.
For this to happen, however, it is necessary that people place pressure their elected representatives. Meanwhile, we must stop glossing over our accounts and how they are managing our resources. We must reject the logic of patronage and move to association as open groups, where the collective interest prevails and not the details. Sure there are
to face resistance and distrust: long ago, a manager of my town, compared to the requests because they were to initiate a participatory preparation of the budget, and to refer to the control of the public balance sheet, as it does for many years in many administrations, both Italian and foreign, responded with the following text words, which then were told to me, "wants to give power to the people. " But
to participate in decisions that affect us is our right, not a subversive demand, and now provides all the tools, cultural, legislative and technological developments to make this right effective.
So, let's take that power to decide that in a democracy is ours, belongs to the citizens.
Our commitment, as we demonstrated with the story VOCEM, although now we still await the outcome of appeals to the TAR, obviously being felt, however, our voice to the authorities cited, it is essential to oppose the aggression that our territory is suffering, for the interests of speculators and profiteers, who often do not find any obstacle from our political representatives, for inadequacy, perhaps in good faith, or inability, or even, sometimes, for complicity.
We must then assume responsibility as citizens to monitor, investigate, seek areas of democracy and participation, make suggestions, provide good examples and practices of virtue, and when we are allowed, to work together with government to achieve any kind of initiative that seeks in the direction to pursue the public interest.
And 'course, unfortunately, and I will end here, that the spaces that people leave them free from democratic control, are immediately taken up by entrepreneurs, professionals and associations, going to negotiate within the institutions, with lobbying rules, or through their elected representatives, all they can: assignments, custody, financing, concessions, ...
